John was such a kind and caring man. On the few times we met him, he was always interested in what we had to say - always giving us time. I shall always remember being starstruck every time John popped up on the TV - particularly the time he appeared to shoot Jake Moon on Eastenders. Although he leaves a massive void in so many lives, the amazing job he has done, with Doreen, bringing up 3 incredible girls, will help his memory live on. The strength and courage of Jemma, Donna and Katie is an absolute testament to both Doreen and John. And I’m sure he will be watching from above with an incredible amount of pride.
